About me
I am going into my 31st year of teaching Special Education. I am originally from New Jersey, and have been in Hampton, Virginia for the past 10 years.
I love art and singing and enjoy incorporating music and artistic expression in my classroom. While working in Newport News, I have been teaching students with emotional disabilities and have learned so much about helping students deal with the behaviors that may interfere with their learning. I believe in focusing on my students' abilities and not their disabilities.
