About me
Dr. Tami Dean is an experienced educator who has spent the last 25 years working with students and supporting educators and educational leaders. During her tenure in education, she has taught at all levels in K-12, has been a part of district leadership, as well as a professor of education. She is a dynamic speaker, presenter, and writer with multiple conference presentations and various publications. She hosts a podcast on equity in education, Equity Hour, where she shares practical action items and talks with educators implementing equity in the field. Tami believes in the power of the profession of education and that building community and relationships rooted in equity and social justice will lead to the best success for all students and staff.
