I am an Assistant Principal with Newport News Public Schools and a dedicated educator with 24 years of experience. My passion lies in igniting each scholar’s light. Empowering students to discover their greatness and reach their fullest potential.Born in Panama City, Panama, I moved to Virginia at the age of eight. Spanish is my first language, and I learned English through American public schools. Adopted at the age of three, I grew up navigating life as both a minority and an adoptee, experiences that have profoundly shaped my perspective, resilience, and commitment to equity in education.
