Adobe Express: Generate AI Images and Bring Them to Life with Animation

This session will guide participants through creating engaging, animated visuals using AI and Adobe Express. Attendees will learn how to generate high-quality AI images, apply tips and tricks to enhance their results, and record and animate their creations for classroom use. The session will also include practical classroom management strategies for successfully implementing this activity with students. There are no prerequisites for this session; participants should bring a computer and have access to Adobe Express through Clever.

This session would benefit educators who teach science, English, or history and are interested in integrating creative technology into their instruction. This session would benefit new teachers with less than 3 years of experience.

In this session, participants will learn how to transform existing lessons into collaborative learning experiences using Lumio’s built-in tools and features. Teachers will explore how to create, customize, and deliver activities that promote real-time participation and deeper understanding. No prior experience with Lumio is required; participants are encouraged to bring a device and a sample lesson or resource they’d like to enhance.

This session would benefit educators who teach Grades 3-12.

Kimochis are a versatile, engaging tool that can help ALL students quickly and safely explore and manage their feelings. Kimochis are not just for counselors - they can be used effectively by anyone, with any age group, from individual interventions to classroom-wide! This session will introduce the philosophy behind Kimochis and allow participants to get some hands-on experience. Following this session, interested participants may choose to continue with a semester-long PLC with your presenters, after which they will receive access to the Kimochis learning portal, as well as receiving the full "mixed bag" of Kimochis plushies to keep! Please note that the PLC does involve some additional assignments, which will be discussed in our session.

This session would benefit all educators interested in building students' emotional literacy.
