The purpose of this professional development is to support teachers in strengthening instruction aligned to the Virginia Studies Standards of Learning by prioritizing student thinking, inquiry, and engagement. Teachers will explore how structured AI-powered learning experiences (via SchoolAI “Spaces”) can be used to deepen understanding of historical content, promote critical thinking, and provide opportunities for students to actively construct knowledge. Participants will need to bring a fully charged laptop.
