Special educators balance case management, scheduling, progress monitoring, family communication, compliance responsibilities, and the daily delivery of specially designed instruction. In this practical session, participants will learn how to use time-saving technology tools to streamline scheduling, organize caseload tasks, simplify data collection, improve communication efficiency, and utilize e-signatures to expedite document completion. Attendees will also explore ways technology can support planning for specially designed instruction and student support. Participants are encouraged to bring a charged laptop or device to explore tools and resources during the session. No advanced technology experience is required.
This session is intended for Special education teachers. This session would benefit new teachers with less than 3 years of experience.
