This session is designed for both new and returning high school STEM Lead Teachers. Participants will explore how STEM leadership supports innovative instruction, authentic student experiences, and future-ready pathways in Newport News Public Schools. The session will include updates on the Virginia STEM Ecosystem and NNPS leadership within Region 2, community and industry STEM partnerships, NNPS STEM signature experiences, and the continued growth of competitive robotics programming. Participants will also discuss strategies for strengthening schoolwide STEM culture, expanding student opportunities, and connecting STEM learning to workforce and postsecondary pathways.
