This session uses insights from Atomic Habits by James Clear to help teachers build clear, consistent classroom routines and procedures. Participants will learn how small, intentional changes can improve student behavior, increase independence, and maximize instructional time. The session will explore practical strategies such as habit stacking, creating effective cues, and reinforcing positive behaviors. Teachers will collaborate to reflect on their current practices and identify high-impact routines to strengthen. By the end of the session, participants will walk away with concrete ideas for starting off the year building strong habbits with students that will keep things running smoothly all year long.

This session is geared towards new teachers with less than 3 years of experience, grade level switchers, or teacher who want a fresh way of thinking about how to set up their students for success with clear routines and procedures.
